The Warriors have officially fallen out of a play-in tournament spot, just seven weeks after they were last ranked first in the conference. Golden State's collapse has been extraordinary, especially for a team led by Steph Curry, one of the greatest to ever play.

"We're not giving in. But you have to be realistic organizationally about where you are," Kerr told The Athletic on Monday.

As such, the lack of All-Star-level talent, especially in their prime, has become a glaring hole in the Warriors' roster construction. Right now, they have young and developing players who could become stars and two aging veterans hoping to continue challenging during the twilight of their careers.
