In a new interview for Vanity Fair 's 2025 Hollywood Issue, Sydney Sweeney revealed that the constant delays for Euphoria season 3 were part of the reason she even made the movie at all.

Something like the Hollywood Issue is another one of those signals that the cast may have way outgrown their HBO teen drama, but to hear Sydney Sweeney tell it, the gratuitous Euphoria delay pretty much forced her into doing her own thing.
