Gaza-based Palestinian group Hamas on Sunday, 19 January 2025 said that it has handed over the list of hostages to Israel as part of the Israel-Hamas, Gaza ceasefire. Earlier in the day, Israel had said that it will not initiate the decided ceasefire to stop all military campaigns in Gaza Strip since it did nt receive any list of hostages that Hamas was supposed to hand over to the Israeli authorities.

A Palestinian stabbed an Israeli man in central Tel Aviv Saturday afternoon, seriously injuring him, before being shot and killed by an armed civilian. Police said the stabbing on Levontin Street was a "terror attack".
