WWE 2K25 evolves the franchise with The Bloodline Showcase, enhanced gameplay features, new match types, the largest-ever WWE 2K roster and a new “The Island” experience.

WWE 2K25, the next installment of 2K's wrestling game series, just publicly demonstrated its new Intergender match type and its Anoa'i family-focused Showcase mode, courtesy of The New Day.

WWE and 2K announced details for the upcoming releasing, including new game modes like The Island, new matches like Bloodline Rules and Underground, and more.

K pulled the curtain back this morning on its much-anticipated new entry WWE 2K25, and there was quite a bit to dive into. Amongst all of those details were two long requested features however that deserved their own spotlight,

WWE 2K25 continues the recent tradition of the series, layering new features on top of existing and robust fundamentals. Nothing right now feels particularly revolutionary as the formula feels largely consistent with last year's offering with some small but smart tweaks.

While half the sporting genre cries out for reinvention, the WWE 2K series has turned itself into one of the most fun, replayable sims around. Going hands-on with WWE 2K25 hours before this year's Royal Rumble is therefore an experience I've been excited about for weeks.
