Bryan Kohberger pleaded guilty to the murders of four University of Idaho students as part of a plea deal to avoid the death penalty more than two years after the slayings shocked the nation and touched off a coast-to-coast manhunt.

Prosecutors laid out key evidence against Bryan Kohberger this week after he agreed to plead guilty to killing four University of Idaho students in 2022.

Kohberger, who admitted to killing Madison Mogen, Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle and Kaylee Goncalves, will be sentenced later this month.
