Visitation and funeral will be at Chillicothe High School’s Hatton Memorial Gymnasium, according to his online obituary.

A correction officer in Ross County was killed Christmas morning by an inmate. The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Correction announced that officer Andrew Lansing died Wednesday morning after being assaulted by an inmate at the Ross County Correctional Institution.

Andrew Lansing, the correction officer who was allegedly killed by an inmate on Christmas Day, will be laid to rest this Friday.
