NFL free agency officially began with the new league year kicking off at 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday. There were plenty of moves made during the legal tampering period on Monday and Tuesday, but those deals were basically handshake agreements.

As first reported by Russell Street Report, the Ravens trimmed Humphrey’s 2025 salary from $18 million to $1.255 million and converted $16.75 million into a signing bonus. They also added two void years to Humphrey’s deal, which runs through 2026.

Free agency began at noon Monday with the legal negotiating window. The new league year officially started Wednesday at 4 p.m., when contracts for pending free agents agreeing with new teams — and trades — become official.
