Shine signed a two-year contract with Detroit on Monday, Shine's new deal goes through the 2025-26 season. He has 11 goals and 32 points in 40 games with AHL Grand Rapids this campaign. The 31-year-old Shine could make his NHL debut in Monday's game versus the Kings if Vladimir Tarasenko (illness) is unavailable.
