San Diego Wave has completed the signing of France midfielder Kenza Dali from Aston Villa. Dali, 33, has joined the club on a two-year deal through to 2027 and will occupy an international slot on the Wave’s roster in 2025.

Aston Villa Women can confirm Kenza Dali has joined San Diego Wave for an undisclosed fee. The midfielder joined Villa in 2022 from Everton but will now head to the States on a permanent deal. Dali made her debut in claret and blue against Manchester City at Villa Park, scoring in our season-opening 4-3 victory.

Dali has spent the last two-and-a-half-seasons with Aston Villa. She has made 48 appearances for the club in the Barclays Women’s Super League in which she has netted seven goals. Dali has played an influential role for Aston Villa in the middle of the pitch. In her time in England, Dali has also turned out for West Ham United and Everton.
