After a slight rebound earlier this week, Tesla's TSLA stock is back to falling, keeping with its recent performance. Even U.S. President Donald Trump's purchase of one hasn’t done much to spark real momentum for the electric vehicle (EV) leader.

The brother of Tesla CEO Elon Musk has been selling Tesla stock. Kimbal Musk has been offloading shares in recent months, just as Tesla stock has made a massive retreat from all-time highs that put the stock, however briefly, among the select group of trillion-dollar companies.

Mashable notes that as of Tuesday morning Trump has offered up no evidence that he followed through with his pledge to buy a Tesla vehicle. As for Musk, he's spent the day personally thanking his fans, such as conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, for voicing their support for Tesla on his social media platform X.
