Chris Brown returned to court in London on Friday, July 11, where he pleaded not guilty to lesser charges tied to his alleged attack of a music producer at a nightclub two years ago.

Brown is accused of attacking music producer Abe Diaw with a bottle of alcohol at Tape nightclub in London in February 2023. In October of that year, Diaw filed a lawsuit accusing Brown of using the bottle to hit him with “crushing blows.” His lawsuit, however, has since been dismissed with prejudice.

Grammy-winning singer Chris Brown on Friday pleaded not guilty to two further charges related to the serious beating of a music producer with a bottle in a London nightclub in 2023. Brown, 36, denied the more serious charge of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm at a hearing last month.
