Noah Wyle goes back to an emergency room for his new series “The Pitt” and Lana Wilson’s lauded documentary about psychics “Look Into My Eyes” are some of this week’s new streaming entertainment releases.

“The Pitt” is the derisive nickname given to the rundown Pittsburgh hospital where Wyle’s Dr. Michael “Robby” Rabinavitch leads a dedicated team through the daily horrors and miracles that comprise an ER. In a Zoom interview, Wyle noted that this return was a choice with perhaps a sprinkling of earned wisdom.

Hailing from 'ER' vets including R. Scott Gemmill and John Wells, the 15-episode real-time series follows the doctors and nurses at a Pittsburgh trauma center.
