Hull City came from behind to earn their maiden victory of the season and a long overdue first for new manager Tim Walter with a 3-1 win over Stoke at the Bet365 Stadium.

Tim Walter admitted Hull City's response to falling a goal behind at Stoke City was crucial to their terrific comeback victory. Regan Slater slammed in a second for the second season in a row, but were a goal down after half-an-hour when Ben Wilmot headed the hosts in front.

Victory at Stoke would move Hull up to 13th in the table ahead of the rest of the weekend’s games. The two sides meet at the Bet365 Stadium in an 8pm kick-off. Bringing Walter in for Rosenior was about bringing in a more attractive style of play, but a slow start to the new season should’ve been expected with all these major changes in the team.
