Honestly I would say go 1,3,4,5 and then play 2 since it doesn't add anything to the main plot but it's still fun to play especially if you like the gun play. As for the dmc:devil may cry (the reboot) I'd say play it. You'll hear a lot of mixed opinions on it but I really enjoyed it

Oct 25, 2022 · When Devil May Cry 3 came out the western release had the Japanese hard mode set as its normal mode, probably in response to criticism of 2 being too easy. Special Edition changed it back but even then there's a kind of notorious skill check boss on the third mission, but once you get past that it's pretty manageable.

Devil May Cry 2 isn't worth it unless you've already played everything else and are aching for more. Devil May Cry 1 is very dated and difficult to go back to, but if you've played everything else and just want more it is a totally viable option. Devil May Cry 3 and DMC are both great entry points into the series.

Dec 8, 2007 · Devil May Cry 4 was the only game in the series that contained some Christian elements. The DMC3 Manga implied that Dante and Vergil's birth from Eva was akin to Mary's birth of Jesus. Other than that DMC is a mixture of a whole lot of stuff.

Dec 20, 2020 · Well i think it's heavy metal and hard rock that makes DMC what it is, but each game has something different and unic about it: Dmc1 had more like an electronic style to it, still heavy rock but more electronic Matrix like, it kind of reminds of Rob Zombie to tell you the truth.

And that has become the norm. The norm now is to go against traditional conventions of love, heroism and bravery. So now when some people go to play Devil May Cry they consider it cringe because it uses those classic story archetypes. That and the first game had bad voice acting
