May 13, 2015 · MnSoft | KIA Map Update (US) for v9 and v8.5 is $50 off until that date. I had wanted to go to the v8.5 but held back. Hopefully they will post some good v9 enhancment details so it can truly make the upgrade worth the purchase for those of us that have yet to pay up for newer data/features.

Sep 14, 2015 · Just off the phone with Kia customer service. My map SD card is the 96554-C6000 vintage. Looking up SD Matrix there would appear to be newer versions namely C6001 (V.9.0) and C6002 (V9.5).

Mar 26, 2017 · Update - Head unit replaced last week. On the 15 min drive home it wouldn't connect to the satellites. Called the dealership and they recommended I leave the car for the day so they can open a ticket with the Kia Canada Techs. Two days later after a 30 minute drive it connected. Thought it was fine. Next day it still worked.
