Keiko was taken from Iceland to perform for Marineland, in Ontario, Canada. Kiska, the orca that remains in this facility, was captured during this operation, too. Keiko struggled to adapt and the other orcas bullied him, so he was sent to Reino Aventura, amusement park in Mexico City for $350,000 USD.
