Thanks to a vigilant community member, our rescue staff was able to safely capture and transport this Wood Stork to our hospital. The day after they were admitted, this patient underwent a surgery to repair the fractured wing. Under the care of our staff, this patient underwent routine bandage changes, physical therapy, and various reconditioning methods for months. All this to prepare them for a successful return to the wild! Every department at our center had a hand in this patient’s story. Ou
