On Armistice Day, the College pays tribute to the bravery of those serving in our Armed Forces, both past and present. It is also a time to recognise the crucial role of general practice in supporting veterans with their mental and physical health. Together with @NHSEngland, we’re urging GP practices to become veteran friendly accredited and prevent ‘silently struggling’ veterans from delaying seeking medical help. ‘Being a black leader in general practice means that I'm inherently a bridge. So I bridge clinical expertise with cultural understanding or awareness.
