This year marks the 30th anniversary of the opening up and development of the Pudong New Area. Over the past 30 years, the region has formed a distinctive spirit of experimenting and opening up. A modern city has been built out of a farmland. On land occupying 1/8,000 of China, Pudong has created 1/80 of the country's GDP and 1/15 of its foreign trade volume.
